2050 Landscape Survey

A survey of various future (2050) agriculture, forestry

and woodland scenarios in the Tarland catchment

This survey is part of research being undertaken by the James Hutton Institute as

part of a project on future landscapes.  Six different scenarios have been developed

of potential land uses in 2050. We would like your opinions on the landscapes which

might result.

You will be shown six images from nine different viewpoints. Please select the image you

prefer from each of the viewpoints. The survey will take approximately eight minutes to

complete and you will not be asked to provide your name or address.
You may leave a

comment at the end of the survey if you wish.
